In terms of pure running, I think AD is the 2nd best RB in the league. In terms of value to a team, Ray Rice would have to be 2nd on that list.

Good point. I mean he was 2nd in the AFC in rushing yards and has been one of the best HB's over the last 3 years.

ESPN fudged up again.

But if Jones had gone to The Giants or stayed with Jets his name would be towards the top.

I don't know what's so crazy about thinking Charles is one of the best (if not the best) back in the NFL. He ran for nearly 6 yards per carry behind the same offensive line that Larry Johnson repeatedly ran up the ass of.

Charles is a phenomenal player. It has nothing to do with homer goggles. It's not like he's Greg Hill or something.

Peterson is one hell of an overrated back. Injury prone, puts the ball on the ground like he's playing basketball. Yeah he's uber talented but he has some serious negatives in his game.

Yeah because a high character guy that has the most rushing yards in the NFL since his arrival is overrated?

I said the guy was talented. But he also runs behind the best line in the NFL too. And with all that the guy puts the ball on the field a ton, and is made of glass. Yes he's overrated. That doesn't mean he isn't a great player but I don't think he's the best back in the NFL like a lot of people do.
