If not, I think the sample size is big enough to say he is garbage and will never amount to anything in New England.. ; ) |

It's too bad, though. I do like the Boy Wonder. But I can't really root fo rhim while he's Denver's coach. If only he'd gone over to the NFC or something. My favorite teams in 2010: 1. Patriots 2. whoever is playing the Raiders any given week 3. whoever is playing Denver any given week 4. whoever is playing the Jets/Dolphins any given week 5. whoever is playing the Colts any given week 6. whoever is playing the Ravens/Steelers/Chargers any given week. :hrmm: This is getting complicated. I'll need to come up with tie-breaking procedures. :D |

I'm not sure I've ever been so apathetic toward a Denver trade. I don't think this makes any difference whatsoever, nor is the drop from 4th to 6th a big deal.
 |
I wonder if this is some knee-jerk reaction trade after they learned that Grant is IR in Green Bay now... Patriots may have been better suited to wait, who knows.

By comparison, other than that stiff we took in 2000 (some QB named Brady), we've gotten VERY little mileage out of 6th round picks. We've actually done better with 7th rounders. Matt Cassell, David Givens, and Tully Banta-Cain come to mind immediately for 7ths that we got good use out of. |
On a side note, the Broncos have to be up to something like 12 running backs that they've had on the roster between last year and this year. McDaniels must like the shotgun approach to running back development.
