He's on the team, so the condition may already have been met. Haven't heard boo on what the comp there is. Presumably late round, but I don't know. Page was in on soemthing like 7 of the 60'odd snaps we had on defense last week.

Seven snaps? Did he get any stats?

If not, I think the sample size is big enough to say he is garbage and will never amount to anything in New England..

; )

Good point. I love having ANOTHER reason to root for Denver to suck. :D

It's too bad, though. I do like the Boy Wonder. But I can't really root fo rhim while he's Denver's coach. If only he'd gone over to the NFC or something.

My favorite teams in 2010:

1. Patriots
2. whoever is playing the Raiders any given week
3. whoever is playing Denver any given week
4. whoever is playing the Jets/Dolphins any given week
5. whoever is playing the Colts any given week
6. whoever is playing the Ravens/Steelers/Chargers any given week.

:hrmm: This is getting complicated. I'll need to come up with tie-breaking procedures. :D

i figured it was for the 6th you just traded. Probably a 7. Plenty of KC fans will crap their pants if it's a 5th, lol.

You know I always keep CP in mind for Chiefs/AFCW-related news that might come my way first.

I'm not sure I've ever been so apathetic toward a Denver trade. I don't think this makes any difference whatsoever, nor is the drop from 4th to 6th a big deal.

I wonder if this is some knee-jerk reaction trade after they learned that Grant is IR in Green Bay now... Patriots may have been better suited to wait, who knows.

It's really too bad. The guy has classic size/speed for the position and by all rights SHOULD HAVE been very good. Instead, we got to see both DeAngelo Williams and Joseph Addai, taken later in the round, massively outperform Maroney, and Addai play for one of our biggest rivals no less. :shake: Oh, and Nick Mangold be drafted later in the round and become a pro bowl level lineman for our division rival Jets. :shake: :banghead:

Oh well, not all picks pan out, but that one just hurts somehow. He SHOULD have been good, but I guess he just didn't want to spend the effort. Or soemthing...

Hes one of those guys who dances around too much before he hits the hole IMO ...kind of like Marion Barber.

Believe me, I know. Jarvis Green, Ghost, Aaron Hernandez and (especially) Asante Samuel say "hi".

By comparison, other than that stiff we took in 2000 (some QB named Brady), we've gotten VERY little mileage out of 6th round picks. We've actually done better with 7th rounders. Matt Cassell, David Givens, and Tully Banta-Cain come to mind immediately for 7ths that we got good use out of.

On a side note, the Broncos have to be up to something like 12 running backs that they've had on the roster between last year and this year. McDaniels must like the shotgun approach to running back development.

Well, it's conditional. If it's making-the-roster, thent hey probably would've announced it already, so I imagine it's playing-time related. I dunno.

Makes sense ... they were in the same college backfield.
