Yep. Same here.

Same here, when there's that few games left, you need to relish every minute of them.

After we lose our final game, I just get disgusted for awhile. The games just don't seem to have the same appeal, for some reason.

I watch a couple, of course. And the Super Bowl. But, I don't have strong feelings one way or the other about the teams or really care who wins.

As far as I'm concerned, that's the beauty of them. I can simply enjoy watching them without all the stress and emotion swings involved with a Chiefs game.

It is really odd for me this year. I should be pissed about the last two games but I am actually already over it. Deep down I think we all knew it was a tall order to go anywhere in the playoffs this year and that makes it easier for me to deal with it.

I hated knowing the season was over by week 8 much more.

My prediction is that Brady embarrasses the Jets secondary, while the camera constantly pans over to Rex's face and looks like...

Yes, I remember them saying that before. :D

That's a good point about the emotional involvement. I hadn't really looked at it that way, I guess.

I don't know ... I'm a big homer, I suppose. I hold out hope each year that lightning will strike and we'll become the Cinderella story of the season. Then, when it's all over I just feel depleted and disgusted for awhile ... to the point I just want to cram a football up some hobo's ass.

You know i do like the trash talking cause let face it. The nfl could use a little more fun. Roger Goodell making the league into a bunch of pussy. I miss the old days of hard hits and cool dances in the end zone. Also to note before all these rules to help slow down injuries now before they were not injury prone in the 90's 80's 70's 60's or 50's cause god forbid you might lose a few talent for the year. That when you can see who will step up and win some games for you.

blaise 01-13-2011 05:39 AM

The Jets crying about someone else talking is rich.

How else can you explain Belichick when he disrespects the entire NFL. It's football, not Armaggedon.

I hope the Jets bust them in the mouth.

...and to all a good night.

Oh, will you shut the **** up. I am so ****ing sick and tired of people whining about "running up the score". In the first place, it's their job to stop you. If your team sucks so bad, that's not the other team's fault. Second, going for it on 4th down is not running up the score. Belichick does this routinely, because he feels it's more sportsmanlike to give them a chance to take the ball on downs than it is to do something pussy like kick a FG and get 3 more points. Again, it's not his fault if you can't stop them on 4th down. ****ing pussy-ass whiny-bitch league the NFL has turned into, along with its fans. "Waah, waaah, he's mean, he's running up the score!" You think Lombardi would say, "Oh, we don't want to score any more points, we might hurt their widdle feewings!" Anyone remember the Houston game where they came back from, like, 84 points down? No lead is safe in today's NFL, with the scoring potential of the passing games. Just this season there were a handful of Patriots games where they took their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter and the other team came back to make it too close for comfort. **** that shit. To quote a great genius, "You play to win the game."

Besides, who doesn't like an ass-kicking when you're doing the kicking or like who's doing the kicking? :D Trust me, if the Chiefs ever get good enough to the point where they can routinely hang 50 on the Broncos, Raiders, or Chargers, you'll be screaming at the TV for them to score more touchdowns even when they're up by 31 points in the 4th. LMAO

And I wish you'd choke on an AIDS-filled penis.

Oh, BTW, take a look at the Great Gazoo Peyton Manning. You want to see someone who whines to the refs like a bitch? Every ****ing play that doesn't go his way, he throws his hands up in the air and gives them Peyton Face.

She's not a Chiefs fan. She's a Giants fan. the Giants beat the Patriots in the super bowl 4 years ago as huge underdogs when the infamous red hoody was revealed, remember that? I remember that.

What the **** does that have to do with anything? Is that your comeback, to try to rub the 2007 SB in my face because I'm a Patriots fan? Instead of maybe having an actual opinion about whether or not teams do or should "run up the score"? Go **** yourself with a rusty sword, douchenozzle.

The JETS are S-C-R-E-W-E-D. And a will laugh the whole time.

OMG Brady pointed at our sideline after throwing a TD. Oh Noes.
