It's especially bad down by Interstate 80 here in Western Ne and Wyoming because the interstate follows the North Platte river. Nothing worse than going down the interstate on a pitch black night and coming up on a herd of deer at 75 + MPH.

They should have a longer rifle and archery season to help cull the deer or nature will probably help out shortly by a bad breakout of Chronic Wasting disease or Hemorrhagic disease or Bovine TB.

I'd rather see a longer hunting season then see deer drop dead from disease.
There's just waaaaaaaaay too many fucking deer here. :cuss:

I haven't hunted in decades, so my only experience with deer since 1980-something is dodging the goddamn things on the highway. I've never hit one (knock on wood), but have had numerous close calls. Every time I drive out in the country I inevitably see them splattered all over the road. I no longer think about the enjoyment of the hunt, or the taste of venison. I just view these things as long-legged rats with antlers. There are way too many of them, and the population needs to be severely culled. More hunting, less whining about it.

There's a special place on my plate for all those animals. Right next to the potatoes and in front of the biscuits. Next time you have the urge to eat another McBigFatAssSupreme from the local burger dispensary, I demand that you instead go mano y cowo with Bessie in a steel octagon. Otherwise, shut the **** up and pass the A1 sauce.

thats fine, I hunt, but I've never killed an animal that I didn't eat later. I'm talking about the one's who kill just because they think it's fun to kill something with a gun.

Well...it is fun to kill something with a gun.

If there were no deer hunters deer would be over populated, and full of disease.
If you are an ethical hunter and make clean quick kills I have no problem... If you maim animals, use the wrong weapons or just kill to satisfy your desire to kill, I have a problem with you.

PETA Boy: I have fun hunting, killing is part of hunting. 99% of the fun is just getting out there in the mountains and away from town. I also love to fish and there are times I keep some fish and eat them. To do this, as a general rule of thumb, one must kill them as well. *GASP*
