I'm supposed to be Christian based on my family history. But I can't stand when someone tries to make me join their "cult" in some ways by knocking on my door, telling me to either go to their church or I'm going to hell, and that I'm a bad person if I don't believe the same way as them.

I believe in doing what's right. I respect people, everyone equally until they disrespect me. And I've known way too many Christians, Mormons, whatever, that will sin sin sin sin all week long and then they think because they went to church for a day that makes up for all the disrespectful bullshit they did during the week. Ugh. I don't even want to get into it any further.

...Not insulted at all. I feel the same way. Some might refer to those people as hypocrites. Don't get me wrong no one is perfect, but I would encourage you to be careful not to lump everyone into that category.

I'm not insulted whatsoever. I'll be the first one to admit I fail daily. We're allowed. We're humans. There's not a single perfect Christian, Catholic, Mormon, Muslim, whatever around... not even Billy Graham, Mother Theresa, or insert your religious figurehead of choice here ______.

I'm not even going to try to live up to anybody else's expectations of what I'm supposed to be. I'm who I am and I'm flawed in many ways. We're all flawed.

And is there any way to get this date changed? I have a shitload of furniture getting delivered on the 21st, and the world ending would just make that Saturday a COMPLETE hassle.

I have no problem with that. It's the people that will act like they are perfect and act like they have some kind of connection with "jesus" that have soured my opinion on religion.

Those people will basically think less of you unless you are part of their "group". I understand what religion does for people, and I hope the religious people of the world also believe that big foot exists, because they've seen him just as many times as they've seen Jesus. If people look at religion as a way to look for a higher power, and if they need faith in something, there's no problem with that. But too many people forget that the bible is made up of fairytales, and there's no real truth to any of it as far as we actually know. Because no one on this earth can prove their was a Jesus, or disprove it either.
