Nah, I looked it up and I was surprised to find out that I'm wrong. I'm not sure how I didn't know that seeing that I drive in Iowa all the damn time. Hell was just on I-29 last weekend.

Maybe your brain is still invisible when in Iowa.

Nah, it just means that I really don't pay very close attention to speed limits.

Yeah, you planted a seed of doubt when you said it was 65, because even with all the times I've driven up there and back, I wasn't 100% sure it was 70. 65mph would just mean that I'd try to keep it under 75.

Good luck, wasn't I-35 (among others, I'm sure) 60mph only 10-15 years ago? I know it's all 70 now, but when I was in college I seem to remember cussing at going from the 70mph in MO to 60.

I remember it being 70 in Iowa, because when I made the move to Wisconsin I just about aborted my move when I drove on I94. It's still ****ing 65 there.

I know it was 65 for a long time, because I was always happy to see the 70mph sign at the Missouri border. Plus I-29 has been nothing but one long construction zone between Omaha and Hamburg for the past 3 years so it's not like the speed limit matters anyway.

Ohio is still 65 and I set my cruise on 72. I don't think its worth their time unless its 10 over.

There shouldn't be any speed limit. Just drive as fast as you want. It's not like you're going to hit anything.

Welcome to Montana

The speed limit needs to be 88.

As much as I hate being stuck behind some dumbass going 45 in the 55 construction zones every freaking time I drive through, I'm glad they're fixing it... at one time it looked like it had been 30 years since they last paved I29, and the patchwork in most places was awful.

It's not exactly a joyride once you hit Terre Haute, either.

I don't know if you ever drive in Pennsylvania, but when I drove through that state in the 1990s they had some of the most restrictive speed limits and laws I can ever remember.

Dad said Kansas recently passed a law, to try and help people understand the difference.

That is by far, not an exclusive Kansas problem.

I put in an above average number of highway miles per year, and from my experience, it is usually some woman on her cell phone, that feels entitled to the left lane.

Actually, truth be told, 75 is too slow too. Kansas could garner some popularity and be the first state in the country to have the AutoBaun. If Germany can have one, where, get this, there's actually people and buildings, why the hell not Kansas?

Because you actually have to know how to drive to get a license in Europe. Getting a driver's license in the US is a complete ****ing joke.

At least I'm starting to see some signs telling people to stay the **** out of left lanes unless passing.
