Why do you hate the Chiefs so much? Seriously.. WHY!?

You want to win the Super Bowl THIS year, when we could lose every game and possibly get the second coming of ... well ... we're not quite sure yet.

Get outta here, you fair-weather, success-wanting, selfish, selfish non-fan man.

I'm so sick of every one acting like we won't draft a QB in the first round because we have Cassel. If a QB falls to us ala' A. Rogers, or there is a QB worth our pick, I will bet that we pull the trigger. Hunt has said he wants to draft, and develop a QB, and everyone acts like just because we went out and got Cassel, that he doesn't still want to do that. He does, and I would almost put money on the fact that Cassel's successor will be a QB drafted, and developed by us.

And screw your outlook on this season. You're a quitter, and a pussy.

Do some of you believe that sometimes you got to be worse to get better?

Do some of you believe that success is not a smooth road? that you will encounter a few bumps along the way with a few setbacks.

Do some of you fail to understand that I care more about the teams long term success than I do about now?

Just shut up already.

We've had the opportunity in recent years to get a QB with a top 5 pick. It hasn't happened. You want us to keep having top picks until we get someone at every position we need?

Nope, only fans on a message board have enough foresight to make this happen.

I lurk heavily. I love this site.

This guys stupidity got me to post.

I would lose a lot of respect for my team, if I thought they were throwing away a season for a chance at a high pick for a QB who no one knows for sure will be any good. I feel stupider thinking about the OP, as every second goes by.

I don't know if the Chiefs can win big or win little this year, but I want everyone from top to bottom busting their ass to win every game.

I'm iffy on Cassel btw.

Okay, this made me laugh out loud. Literally.

And likewise, just because a good QB is sitting there in the draft at our position, we may not take him. We're not going to get a shot at Luck with our roster. I'm sorry, but there is no way we do not win at least 4-5 games and end up at pick three or lower.

So, now you are hoping Pioli drafts the second best QB you like a whole bunch, but he may be happy with Stanzi, Palko, or looking in free agency.

You're basing this on guarantees. Im saying that is not the way the Chiefs operate.

I want a Stanzi #13 jersey. Is that preemptive?

I didn't say that. I said this year may be worth it because I think Luck is going to be a good NFL QB.

So what exactly is the point of your thread other than to stretch "I hate Cassel" into a short story?

Woah, woah.. let's wait until all the cuts go through.

Stanzi may change his jersey number then.

RealSNR 08-29-2011 01:46 PM

Cassel bashers have had 3 years to vent out frustrations. It's come in the form of Cassel threads, Sanchez threads, McCluster threads, Pioli threads, Star Trek threads, and (of course) draft threads. And so much more, including stuff in DC

RedThat chose to keep his doubts suppressed for awhile. What you're seeing here is the releasing of that anger he's been keeping hidden deep down for a long time.

You'll be fine, RedThat. Try drinking a nice hot cup of Ricky Stanzi. It will take the edge off.
