I will never use one in an office. I try to clean mine once a month.

I only clean it if something spills over...but other than that never.....most of my food is covered.

Compared to just about every other bachelor i know, my place is Very tidy... sadly that doesnt carry over to the nuke, its pretty disgusting.

Maybe stating my shame publicly will give me the impetus to right its awful wrong.

I have an older microwave, one that doesn't spin the food. The magnetron has a microwave dispersion "fan" that cooks food evenly. The bottom of the microwave has a heavy duty removable glass pan; the top is a removable "spatter catcher." Both are dish-washable. I toss them in the dishwasher and wipe down the sides and doors. Some things have not improved in 20+ years.

Meh. The microwaves kill all the possible bacteria growing in there so... yeah... never.

Don't they make a spay for that. Microwave Off, Scrubbing Bubbles, ect.
