Don't worry guys we are a couple of solo HRs from getting back in it.

chefsos 05-23-2012 06:50 PM

3 runs, one hit, one error.

That's...just...not good.

Regardless of their struggles they're a veteran group.

You might be right, and I might be misreading Laz's post.

I completely agree with your second line, and this is why I believe that Dayton Moore is dumb as ****; he's proven this time and again. He might be able to draft, but that's about it.

DeezNutz 05-23-2012 06:55 PM

Hud giving Dan Glass exactly what he wants.

**** you, Dan.

lewdog 05-23-2012 06:56 PM

Smith's psyche is ruined. Might as well cut him now.

gblowfish 05-23-2012 07:00 PM

I've got a new nickname for him:
"Eduardo."

Like it?

DeezNutz 05-23-2012 07:05 PM

"Those are the hits that get you started..."

"...and Hosmer grounds out to Jeter."

Ceej 05-23-2012 07:08 PM

Royals baseball...

Where we say "**** you" to strikes. We like balls!

Well there was zero reason to send this kid up today and put him in this situation.........none. OK yeah he pitched 2 solid games in AAA before this, but that isn't even REMOTELY enough to warrant bringing him up. I don't care how mentally tough someone is.........this is something that could have serious long-term consequences on the kid's confidence.

You can't paint me a picture to show me how or why this makes any sense. Just a 4.00 ERA 22 year-old AAA kid that is what? Gonna turn into a solid starter in the Big Leagues when he's been nothing more than average in the minors??

This after hearing Stark and Petro really getting into to Melky for Sanchez trade and what a disaster that has been. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know Melky is hitting .360 bad. One of those things where I had just decided to avoid looking at it to keep from getting even more pissed off about this season. We got a terrible starting pitcher out of the deal who is on the DL along with our sure-fire (until Bubba is ready) center fielder while we get to watch his replacement run rainbow routes to get fly balls that aren't hit directly at him!!

By far Dayton's most productive trade to date.........just not for us. Get rid of Melky after his "fluke" year for Sanchez and sign Alice for $50 million!! :thumb:

The fun just never ends with this organization. This is my first meltdown of the year, but I see many more to come. Oh I love it!! LMAO

The Parade of Ships sail into New York Harbor

This year's festivities honor the War of 1812 and 'The Star-Spangled Banner'

It's a beautiful sight to see - And steps away from the Royals hotel.

Sure-Oz 05-23-2012 07:33 PM

Taking into account his career .269 OBP, that's a great idea.

To the Royals this was a throw away game. A game that Dayton Moore and Ned Yost were very clearly not interested in winning.

Hosmer going 3-4 raising his BA to .191 a moral victory?

Of course. Enter "rationale" Royals fan who says that Dyson has a productive approach.
