Maybe it could happen.

6-10 Romeo is fired

BossChief 07-13-2012 05:58 PM

Do we even know what injury Bowe sustained in the Finale?

Hammock Parties 07-13-2012 05:58 PM

Int. Arrowhead Stadium, sometime in March.

ROMEO CRENNEL: "You know, Scott, Cassel might fail horribly early in the year."

SCOTT PIOLI: "That's true, Romeo. Should we discuss a contingency plan?"

CRENNEL: "I think it would be wise, my liege."

PIOLI: "I'm thinking...and stop me if you don't like this idea...Brady Quinn?"

CRENNEL: "Scott, you read my mind."

PIOLI: "ROMEO!!! You son of a BITCH."

We need Bowe. We don't sign him, Pioli is going to get fired.

This whole thing is dumb as shit. It's Jared Allen Part II, except Bowe doesn't have nearly as much baggage.

**** it. Carl dumped Allen, it got him fired. Pioli wants to repeat that shit, let him.

Who cares? I guess a good start would be, the fans, Bowe and the Chiefs management. As far as scooter, it's time for him to show he has what it takes, or he can get the **** out. His biggest screw up to date, has been Cassel, which in my eyes, is a deal breaker. At this point, I have little respect for the guy, so if he leaves, good riddance.

Cassel will never, ever be benched.

It will not happen.

Amazing that people haven't realized that.

If the Chiefs were even considering the idea that he might fail this year, they would have brought in a legit backup.

If he's playing really bad and this team is in the shitter early, he will. They will have no choice.

Unless they are ok with a half stadium and boo's on national TV. If they are ok with it, so am i. im ready to laugh.

.

We were 0-3 last year and he was playing like shit.

Didn't get benched.

He'll keep us a game or two under 500 all year, complete 57 percent of his passes for 180 yards a game, maintain a 1-1 TD-INT ratio, and be just mediocre enough NOT to get benched.

Yup.... Thats why Orton left, he knew he had no chance to be the starter

That, and that arrogant cockbite Pioli refused to pay him what he was worth.

Which of course was a complete bullshit excuse, because Pioli NEVER wanted Orton here to compete with Cassel.

We will see. I just dont see it. If they want him to just keeep shitting the bed and end up 4-12 picking 8 or so with no shot at a franchise qb when the rest of our team is in the prime ready to step it up, then by all means go for it. IN the end, i have the Lakers to look forward too. Ill be ok. At least one of my teams is decent. Dodgers too. Its not like i am not used of the Chiefs being shitty.

O.city 07-13-2012 06:08 PM

Had we signed Orton, you'd be bitching about that too.

BossChief 07-13-2012 06:10 PM

Stanzi > Orton

They WON'T go 4-12.

They'll be a game or two under .500 all year, and Cassel will be mediocre enough that Pioli will be justified in not benching him because it's easy to say the pieces of shit we have as backup QBs could throw 4 picks in a game.

Wrong. I would have been ****ing ecstatic. I was ****ing thrilled with Orton during the year and really wanted him to sign here.

No you don't. Bowe would have already signed somewhere else if the tag was gone. The tag is one of the reasons why the NFL is a million times better than the NBA.

So be it.

I'm not a fan of being able to make a player stay with you and not commit to said player. I realize they are being extremely well compensated for what they do, but they also bring in a shit ton of revenue for the owner and the city.

If a guy wants to go somewhere else to play, either pay him enough to stay with you or let him walk.
