Careful what you wish for, this thing will probably make it to LA on a single tank of gas. http://i45.tinypic.com/28v6iia.jpg

I never lost Kansas City. I'm doing what I've been doing since 1994, writing and doing what I believe. I've always posted on this and other message boards. I've always interacted with Kansas City sports fans.

I don't know how many times I've said it the past couple of days...

I see posts like "Peter King doesn't understand KC" and "Mike Florio doesn't know what's going on here, he doesn't follow KC closely".

My repsonse is "CLARK HUNT doesn't understand KC. CLARK HUNT doesn't know what's going on here".

At this point, I really wouldn't care. At some point, nothing is better than decades of pain, frustration and broken dreams. I'd just throw all my Chiefs stuff in the trash and become a Bears fan.

Yeah, many of us rejected your correct call on Egoli, when you were popping our fantasy bubble of what we hoped he would finally bring.

I hear ya.

The Herm era forward has actually been healthy for me. I was way too vested in this team.
Remember my ****ing office? I would lock the door and pull the shades if I still had it that way.

I think they are losing that element of fear the longer the team continues to flounder. I know there are cities lusting for a team but I'm not sure there would be that many lining up for the Chiefs if they look into the mediocrity that has been their motto for much too long. It's not like the Chiefs have a history of being a long term successful franchise anywhere but the owners pockets.

Clark has a Citation X, not a Challenger 300...

I was wondering if you still had all that stuff in there. Don't blame you one bit.

Nope, Herm forced an early remodel. :D

Great point.

This team deserves a better owner. Its almost like both the Royals and Chiefs ownerships attitude is “Just be thankful this cowtown has Pro Sports at all”. Its insulting to the city and fans of KC.

In all seriousness though, aren't the Chiefs locked into a long term deal with Jackson county and Arrowhead?
