-1.5

He's just another Pioli bust.

2nd worst pass rusher on the team.

as bad as they are, we haven't even missed dorsey...

Exactly.

All this crap about Dorsey's run ranking and slow but steady transition to a 2-gap has been just that - crap.

Fortunately that's one name we'll lose in the offseason that we don't even have to put much effort into trying to retain.

And Eric Winston? Well he sux at football, but he's #1 a talking silly!

Has he been fired yet?

I'm curious what Powe's ratings are.

Last game and season as a whole.

Well, let's start with the fact that you are a shitdick on the internet who doesn't know shit, so you can shut the **** up about PFF.

And second, JJ Watt has a 35.4, has 9 goddamn sacks and also leads the run defense rankings.

He leads the run defense ratings for 3-4 DEs. There are 2 players that are higher in run defense:

Brandon Mebane and...

Von Miller.

BlackHelicopters 10-11-2012 10:49 AM

Which LSU defensive lineman are we drafting this year?

And yet the Ravens ran to Dorsey's side 5 times for 75 yards.

And the Chargers ran to Dorsey's side 7 times for 36 yards.

Watch Dorsey play some time. The dude is a hoss. In the running game he's practically an immovable object.

The whole reason we gave up that 286-yard game to a scrub in 2009 was because he was out.

The Bucs are going to pound the shit out of our DL if Dorsey doesn't play this week. Carl Nicks ring any bells?

Powe played 7 snaps last week.

The week before he had a garbage game.

The Chiefs aren't interested in him as a solution.

Geez, who let the doncs come in here & hijack things with their chub smoking?

Lotta good all world von did ya last week.

MagicHef 10-11-2012 10:56 AM

Dorsey isn't doing badly. His pass rush sucks, but everyone knew that already. He is tied for #10 in run defense, though.

Ropiatui blows - that doesn't mean that Dorsey is invaluable.

You can't win in this league with down-lineman that do only 1 thing well unless that one thing is rushing the passer and even then only if you have a wealth of guys that can otherwise cover for him.

Dorsey is a decent run blocker because he doesn't even try to defend the pass. He doesn't even attempt to move blockers back (and again, I do not want to hear how that's not his job - it is. It isn't his job to split the gaps, but it is his job to push the pocket and he doesn't even attempt it). He sits his fat ass at the line of scrimmage and holds, regardless of down/distance.

WTF makes that guy worth a big FA contract?

He's as replaceable a player as there is.

Hammock Parties 10-11-2012 11:04 AM

Dorsey is invaluable to US because the rest of our D-line is hot garbage.

I agree he should come cheap or GTFO though.

And FYI, he's very, very good at getting off blocks in the running game.
