It is amazing that the Redskins pick TWO excellent QBs in ONE draft and the Colts once again pick a Hall of Fame QB after Elway and Manning picks.
We only pick when it's shit! |

So you'd base a players potential off a college season where it wasn't great vs. an actual NFL season. All things being equal no quarterback is guaranteed anything. I'd rather go with the consensus that these guys aren't going to be the next Manning and go after someone with equal upside and lesser cost and use the gift to upgrade the total shit team we currently have. I'm of the belief that the Chiefs problem with quarterbacks has less to do with drafting a quarterback and more to do with not giving equal competition and refusal to not admit a mistake and move on. |

If Cousins had equal upside to Smith he would have been a consensus 1st round pick. |

Tell me the differences between Cousins and Stanzi coming out of college, guys.
All this bullshit you want to talk about now is just after-the-fact pining for mediocrity. Cousins would have been a ****ing reeruned pick at the time for us because we already had Cousins on the roster. Don't give me any of this "Cousins has started an NFL game lolz" bullshit. He was a slapdick coming out of college and found the right situation on a team with a QB that gets injured easily. That team has a TANDEM of excellent QB coaches, and they also aren't married to John Beck/Rex Grossman/whoever else you want to play the Matt Cassel role in this comparison. **** Cousins and everybody who wants him. |

Cousins is NOT a starting QB |
