How many times in recent memory have the NY Giants made a mistake for letting players go?

Mario Maningham? No.
Brandon Jacobs? No.
Kevin Boss? No.
Jeremy Shockey? No.

If the Giants let you go, your career is either over or nearly over.

Madison Hedgecock and that Center Shaun O Hara too

I believe both guys made the Pro Bowl and they STILL cut them lol or chose not to bring them back, same thing

Bradshaw can't stay healthy either. Even when he was playing, it was always tenuous leading into the game.

RB's are a dime a dozen in the draft.

Why waste money on a brokedick?

If you have a special talent, you can take a RB in the first round, particularly if you need leverage against your existing running back getting an extension.

But the best reason to sign Bradshaw is that we need to save our draft picks for OT and many defensive linemen, oooh yeaaaah.

Getting hurt constantly equals busted.

Great point

Minimal FAs. I want them to keep building this team through the draft. Sign our key FAs draft a QB#1 and draft well after that.

Exhibit #1,247 that goatboy's player personnel opinions and evaluations are absolute trash.

No to both.

I would never sign a RB in free agency for more than the vet min

RB is the one position you just draft or sign UDFA's

literally a next man up position

it's nice to have the "special" back like Charles...but you can find a back of the scrap heaps and as long as your line can block he can average 4-5 YPC

system usually makes the back

Rausch 02-07-2013 10:39 AM

No and no...
