I love how the assholes on this team will just blindly defend him. So what Tamba is saying is that we need a complete perfect storm for him to perform. We need an all-universe line, a great QB coach and instead of him elevating everyone else's play, we need everyone else to raise the QB play.

If this is Hali's mindset, he can GTFO too.

Hali ate like a whole pan of pot brownies.

I always thought it was odd that Sam Cassell would say "with 2 S's, 2 L's," after saying his name. Now we know that he was prescient and didn't want to be confused with Casshole in a few years. More proof that Sam Cassell is an alien.

Also, in Tony Gonzalez's defense, thiggy, for all his flaws, was a lovable ****er.

Tweet less and focus on not underperforming in '13.

Why it's still illegal in most states.

I don't necessarily know if it's "assholes defending him" versus guys just trying to be a decent teammate.

I have absolutely no problem with Winston standing up for his QB. That's what an offensive line player is supposed to do.

However, Hali should probably reconsider posting about offensive side of the ball stuff, especially when it's a trigger switch situation with the fans at this point. Just let stuff fall where they will and show up in shape without off-season problems like he did last year. They've got a brand new coordinator and he probably should be watching film of his games and the like versus tweeting about Cassel.

That being said, Cassel does seem to be a pretty decent guy who everyone like when he's not under center. I'm sure that all the guys on the team want a fresh start after the Peeholi reign of terror, but that doesn't excuse Matt's inability to effectively QB at this level. At this point of his career, he should be pretty damn happy with those 60 million dollars he got from KC and a few more years backing up Brady again. He was the main addition/cog for Peeholi and it's time for both parties to move on.

What it tells me is that they would rather support friends on the team than win. That's the message it sends.

Hali didn't have to say anything. He can love Cassel for all I care in private. Cassel can be a great guy who does wonderful things for the guys on the team. That doesn't mean shit to me on Sunday when he makes repeated bad play after bad play.

Because he didn't open his fat trap about it.

Keep calm and carry Cassel on out to the garbage dump

Hammock Parties 02-10-2013 02:06 PM

This is kind of like Anne Frank defending Goebbels after Hitler's death.

KCUnited 02-10-2013 02:06 PM

Tamba also loves Ice Cube in those Coors Light commercials.

Rain Man 02-10-2013 02:09 PM

This is why I am adamantly opposed to hiring Tamba Hali as our next offensive coordinator.

God I cannot wait until Casshole's ass is cut & we re-sign Albert.

So sick of hearing about Cassel possibly staying, which is ridiculous to even mention, and Im especially sick of the Luke Joeckel #1 talk.

One more month of this shit.

Not quite accurate.

“When someone gets booed, it’s not right. It’s his health. You know what I’m saying? He got hurt. You have to respect,” Charles said. “It wasn’t right that he got booed.”
