Shaun Hill sucks. And yet he was able to out-perform Alex Smith with the exact same players.

What does that say about Alex Smith?

Alex Smith improved and Shaun Hill didn't?

I would say the team around Alex Smith improved more than he improved.

I mean shit, he threw 18 TD/12 INT two years before Harbaugh.

It says that Shaun Hill was able to grasp Mike Martz offense better than Alex Smith, who at the time, was on his fourth offense in four years.

Figure you can go 2-2 vs OAK/SD at the worst and you're getting rolled by DEN ... so that's 2-4 worst case or 3-3 best case in the division.

Home vs BAL / CIN / IND / ATL / CAR
Away vs CLE / PIT / BUF / NOS / TB

That's 7, possibly 8 wins... CIN, IND and CAR will present issues.

Around the same time this was going on you were saying how Smith would be a nice addition in KC.

We're gonna kick the shit out of the Broncos this year in KC.

Crap ... cannot trust the Google result sometimes.

Home - Houston, Indianapolis, Dallas, N.Y. Giants,
Cleveland

Away - Jacksonville, Tennessee, Philadelphia,
Washington, Buffalo

Enh, possibly the same result, but much better chance of getting to 9.

No, we're pissed because anyone that knows anything about football knows you're not going to win a championship with Alex Smith. You don't win with game managers - the guy had an elite running game and elite defense and still didn't get the job done. He's certainly not going to do it here with inferior talent.

Decent isn't good enough in today's NFL, and better than bad does not equal good.

Gee **** stick, the 49ers didnt get it done with a much better qb either.....

Who did shaun hill ultimately lose his job to??
