Of course. It's a no-brainer. If the Chiefs don't finish ahead of the Raiders in 2013, they ought to disband the franchise.

Time value has almost no relevance here if you accept the idea that you'll be as happy with the 3rd pick in this draft as you are with the first. I think the Chiefs are in that position here, particularly if it's Oakland and Jacksonville ahead of us.
