What we've seen is in the draft is that we passed on a lot of QBs that all teams didn't think very highly of. I will believe it when I see Smith with a long-term deal and KC in year 3 with the same QB. I hope you're wrong, but I'm not going to rule out that maybe you're right. It's just too soon to say.

It makes no sense that we draft him with our 4A. The running back we took 3 picks ahead of him would have for sure fallen to our 4A and Barkley may or may not. If we do indeed get him we handled that very poorly

Yeah I guess the fact that he hasn't yet been offered another contract is the only positive we have to hold on to at the moment.

I guess this is my crow for wanting the team to take a QB at any point in the draft..

Of course it has to be a USC one with a jersey number 7
