Wonder what it would take to get Seymour?

Red Gorilla 09-04-2013 10:10 AM

Don't shoot me but, I wonder if they are going pay Alex? It's probably not enough.

How can we have the highest salary number in the league with so little elite talent?

Approximately $35 million in three players: Berry ($10), Hali ($15) and Albert ($9.8).

Why? He'll be 34 in a month and appeared in only eight games last year.

Wouldn't give him more than a one year deal anyway, but he'd be an immediate upgrade over any dl we have.

He only played in eight games last year. He's a shell of his former self and is most certainly not an upgrade over DeVito or Jackson, especially on first and second down.

Why would they. Right now they have 2 years to figure out if he can take us to the promised land or back to the depths of hell. If he sucks balls, they can cut ties with him after next year with no cap hit.

He would pretty much be a situational pass rusher but its not like teams are always running it on 1 or 2 down these days.

But he's gonna cost too much anyway.

I wonder if they're looking at another corner or something

It appears that comprehension in the early morning is not my strong suit.

You're probably right. I keep thinking about what happened in the worst case scenarios with Cassel and Flacco.

Wonder if it's for Albert? Or, maybe we're looking at Dunbar?

ThaVirus 09-04-2013 10:28 AM

I'd rather not do anything to cause cutting/trading Hali to be more difficult. I hope I'm wrong but he may see a steep decline here soon and I wouldn't want to be handcuffed to him because we acted prematurely..

He got three sacks in those eight games, which is more than our entire defensive line has recorded in the past eight years combined.*
