In France, they are called Royale w/ Cheese, because of the metric system.

No it's not because of the metric system....it's because the french army has been 'quarter pounded' by almost every military in europe and they don't want to be reminded of that!:harumph:

I'm sure Andy Reid's arrival here and McD's test marketing this in KC is just a big coincidence.

Sometimes I think about how we used to go through the drive thru at mcdonald's after a night of drinking and get multiple double cheeseburgers and/or $1 chicken sandwiches and I just wonder how my heart is still functioning.

Last one I had, about 15 years ago, wasn't that great. On top of that, it made me sick.

Reese's McFlurries are the only thing I get at McD's now.

Alcohol lubes the arteries. People who have heart attacks do so because they didn't drink enough!

Only reason I posted those was because my little brother used to work at a McDonalds and said people would do those things all the time.

I can't remember the last time I actually ate McDonalds.

I think it was buy one at regular price, get another one free.

Would it kill them to offer the deal on Quarter Pounders?

It's probably at "participating locations" like some place in in Raytown always closed by the health inspector.

Quarter Back Pounders? really no more advertising be needed. Just too simple not to be thought of.

Serious trick here if you want a big Mac. It works here everytime.

Order a mcdouble

No ketchup
Substitute a seeded bun
Add lettuce and big Mac sauce

Boom, you get a big Mac without the middle piece of bread. For only a dollar.

If they try to charge you for the big Mac sauce, ask them to put it on the side and they won't charge you.

Another mcdonalds trick...

When they are busy, order twice as much food as you really want and when you get to the window to pay cancel everything except what you truly wanted to order...most of the time, everything you originally ordered will all be in the bag.

That usually only works when they are kinda busy, though.

What if you like ketchup and hate the Mac sauce?

Simply Red 09-09-2013 11:06 PM

I dig a Big Mac about 4 times per year ya'll.
