he's a middle of the Road QB, he will have his high games and his low games but he averages out in the middle. Good enough to get you guys to the playoffs imo

QBR and PFF formulaic stats are things to avoid.

QBR and PFF are completely separate.

PFF actually takes into account things like degree of difficulty of a throw.

If QB throws a shitty pass and it goes for 50 yards, he doesn't get much credit for it.

Which is obviously why Palmer and Cutler are #1 and #2, and Kaepernick is #15.

Just means they had better games in Week 1.

Kaepernick still had a very high pass rating. He lost points because his scrambling didn't work out so well.
