I doubt you will get away with anything less than $5,000-$6,000 for tickets, airfare, hotel, transportation and food for a party of two.

pay hitmen to take out the other 31 starting QBs.

Sweet Daddy Hate 11-19-2013 10:12 AM

Realistically?

$0.00

You will be spending zero dollars on this adventure.

You will spend more on the hotel most likely than the tickets. Hotels in NY are insane. You can stay just over the line in New Jersey for a third of the price. Just make sure you have $20.00 a trip each way to pay for the George Washington tunnel to get into NY. They actually charge you to get in and to get out.

I'm pretty ure some kids just walked right in,so if your wife can cause a small distraction id say possibly free for you to get in. I snuck into a Monday night Chiefs game a couple years ago with 3 of my friends when I was young and stupid. We just walked in at half time and looked like we belonged there lol.

It was stupid because I don't know the penalty, but if its a once and life time thing and you have health issues,Just go for it and bring some bail money if the penalty is not to crazy.

the game will actually be in NJ across the bridge. there are reasonably inexpensive rooms there in the Newark area.

I can guarantee they won't be "reasonably inexpensive" during Super Bowl week.

The NFL could have both championship games in the same stadium as the super bowl. TUrning it into a Olympics size event. Cities will go broke building to accomodate them. Greed

You do NOT want to stay in the ghetto that is Newark.

Worst crime cities in NJ
1. Camden
2. Atlantic City
3. Irvington
4. Newark
5. Paterson
6. Willingboro
7. Pleasantville
8. Asbury Park

Tons of nice cities around Northern NJ with decent hotels. Most of Northern NJ is upscale. The area can EASILY handle the super Bowl crowd. NJ is the most densely populated state so it's no problem.

scho63 11-19-2013 01:37 PM

If you are really serious about going, I would make a hotel reservation NOW and cancel if the Chiefs get knocked out of the playoffs.

Some hotels are gouging for that date and others don't know yet.

Trivago has hotels from $189 to $700 for the same type of hotel!

If you have to ask, you can't afford to go. That's the harsh reality for this day and age. The Super Bowl is not for the average guy, unfortunately.

She said it would be a once-in-a-lifetime thing (I guess she she realizes with my health problems, the once in a lifetime thing is not just an expression)...

So, what do you think, Chiefs Hive-Brain?...(I realize it is highly unlikely the Chiefs make it that far, but...)

Go next year.

Most likely will be snowing anyway.
