We are basically in the playoffs. Worst case scenario, we take it slow and let them heal up. In fact, unless we win out, our wins and losses from here on out don't matter much.

That's technically true, but we don't want to go into the playoffs on a losing streak either.

More than anything, I just want the d to play well to stop the ridiculous overreactive bitching on cp about our defense.

Time for the freak, Allen Bailey, to step up. Sapelo Island...represent! Like to see him bat down some Manning passes in between sacks.

Our defense was solid against Denver. Was excellent in the first half of the chargers game.

I don't have any concerns about our defense at full strength being a playoff defense. Nor do I have illusions about how good a defense should be expected to be against Peyton manning.

this team played like bambi last game. if they come out and play like that in arrowhead, they will be met with the loudest stadium of boos they have ever heard.

this is where your veteran leadership needs to show up. let's review the first drive at Denver;

1st play veteran Albert; false start
2nd play veteran Jamaal; 3 yd run play
3rd play veteran Bowe; dropped pass
4th play veteran Jamaal; dropped pass

punt

If that's all these vets have, they are toast. again.

Things are considerably brighter now, and THAT is something we can all be thankful for.

Teams have finally figured out Sutton's schemes with or without them as we have witnessed this last month. One and done my friend and expect no more. Sorry the reality but our offense is mediocre at best and our defense is not as talented as you think.:hmmm:

If he was a freak we would have seen it by now.

Every injury that a Chiefs player suffers bothers you. You haven't been right about one. Take heart in that.

Achilles injuries are unmistakable. There is so much immediate pain that the victim flops to the ground looking like they got shot and they don't get up. They don't even try. They lay there writhing in pain, sometimes clutching their lower leg in shock. I never thought for a moment that Hali popped an Achilles.

This.

The way he went down while having his foot planted and twisting without contact from the opposing linemen made me fear a lis franc.

We got off easy.

Are you sure about that?
