Letting Flowers go is the obvious choice. I don't think we'd see much or any decline in our secondary if we could sign an average veteran free agent corner or a draftee with some upside.

Well you can trade away a player like that if you can get a deal like the Cowboys got for the Hershal Walker trade. Yep JC should cost more than just a first round pick but who would bite? |
Charles is one of the few running backs in the league that you can't easily replace, so you don't trade him.

That's how bad it is now. |

RE: JC. I don't know. I hope he doesn't. I think it is a good possibility, but I doubt he wants Chris Johnson money, and I doubt the Chiefs would be willing to part with Chris Johnson money.

How bout keep shit the same and just throw a monstrosity of a signing bonus in for "restructuring"/ being 30% of our offense.

Jamaal's at the top of the league as a RB and has been for several seasons. If it weren't for Adrian Peterson, people would be talking about Charles as the freak-of-nature who showed absolutely zero lingering effects from his injury in 2011. And with Andy Reid using him in multiple ways, his career has probably been extended by a significant amount. Unless you're going to give me a WR or pass rusher who absolutely dominates the position like Charles does in his, **** that trade so hard in the ass. |

Either way he is a great fit in Reid's offense considering he likes to get his RBs 60 or 70 catches a year. |

Ask Eli Manning, Flacco, and Big Ben how important that running game is. |
