That wouldn't be a surprise I guess. At least ownership figured out who the problem was...

Didn't they just hire him like 3-4 months ago?

The Browns should be wiped from existence yet again. Why they let them back in is beyond words.

Good for Farmer. What an all time train wreck of an offseason. Maybe the all time train wreck. They let these guys run a solid coaching staff out of town after one year, then go through a circus where nobody wants to work for them... then fire them after they settle for their 47th choice. Good job.

I think Browns fans might be in favor of the team moving and getting another expansion team, after a couple of years' cooling-off period LMAO

It looks like saveourbrowns.com is available. What do you think guys? An investment opportunity?

I would have much rather preferred this scenario.

The owner had no choice. Lombardi is worse than Pioli. At least Pioli gave Haley more than 1 year.

Here's how bad it is for them: not one legit HC wanted to go there and they have a solid roster (aside from QB), cash to spend and two 1st rd. Picks.

Lombardi dug himself into the ground way before Pioli.

Kman34 02-11-2014 11:23 AM

Great now that a-hole will be back on the NFL Network with his useless babbling. And after they just got rid of Peeholly

Hammock Parties 02-11-2014 11:24 AM

At this point they need to focus their efforts on being as hilariously bad as possible, to maximize the comedy value of the franchise.

Pettine has max one year to save his ass.

GoChargers 02-11-2014 11:30 AM

Don't get me wrong, the Browns are a waste of a franchise... but this is a good move. Lombardi and Banner are morons.

saphojunkie 02-11-2014 11:33 AM

If only we'd done this with Pioli. After he got the extra second rounder for Gonzalez, fire him before he had a chance to draft the 2009 abortion.

At this point that he's not Lombardi is a step in the right direction.

Good for Farmer. Hope he does well unless the Browns are playing the Chiefs or someone who can help the Chiefs back into a playoff game by winning. ;)
