As far as I'm concerned we should be looking to pretty much blow up the WR corps and go at it again. That's JMO, he is as you describe..a solid player. Nothing more. Plus he's 30 and it's raining WR's this off-season.
He would be an obvious upgrade over someone like Hemingway, a solid vet depth guy... but yeah, lets get some sizzle from our (probably) lone offensive skill player free agent.

We have a better version of sproles in Charles. I'd rather get a power back.

Really? I haven't followed his recent production but for the same money I'd take sproles.

We have Knile Davis. I'd like Sproles as a true backup to Charles because of his speed and catching ability.

If he'd sign as a backup I'd think about it, otherwise, just draft d Anthony Thomas or Dri archer late and move on

I'd imagine McCluster is attractive to teams cause of his

A) younger age
B) his production is ascending

where as Sproles has neither of those going for him, and experts think his skills are diminishing (same with Devin Hester).
