Did he get all his new shit at Best Buy?

He was one DUI away from being suspended for life. The guy needed a change of scenery.

It wasn't going to work here, it just wasn't.

**** JA! His schtick has worn out... I wonder what his beef is with Minnesota now? Seems like a perpetual whiny bitch since Carl shoved a pole up his ass!

Branden Albert was also the result of that trade.

I think he has a little something left, and I don't want to see him play for the Donks.

Well I'm sure he's watching what's going on in KC and thinking he'll at least have two games a year where he'll do fine and thumb his nose at the city that ****ed him. So yeah I'm sure facing a soft left tackle, or at least an unknown (in terms of quality), twice a year is a very good thing for him.

Throw in the fact that playing in Denver means that in at least 8 games a year you're going to play against teams who are literally gassed for the entire 2nd half of the game because THEY aren't acclimated to the altitude, and yeah, it's a smart career move.

KC didn't **** Jared Allen. Jared Allen ****ed Jared Allen.

If anything, KC did him a favor by drafting him at all after he just about got himself kicked out of college football.

I agree, but I'm pretty sure he goes to bed at night blaming CP (the then face of "KC") for ****ing him out of what he was due. So I don't think he hates the fans, but I think he hates the club. And most of us would have to agree. I'm not 100% sure (I don't care that much), but I think those were the years the Hunts were spending under the cap to repay themselves for their part of the stadium renovations. I'm sure some bean-counting number-jockey will tell me if I'm wrong, but I know JA just wanted more than CP would pay him, and at the time, he was due some primo coin for his skills...

His skills certainly warranted a payday. His off-the-field behavior made that payday EXTREMELY risky.

Like I said, there's a lot to blame Carl for. The guy was a first class a-hole.

But Jared Allen's situation is 100% Jared Allen's fault.

Hog's Gone Fishin 03-11-2014 08:03 AM

I wish he's stayed a Chief.

Now I'm hoping he's NOT a Donkey.

Mile High Mania 03-11-2014 08:19 AM

I'm for it if the price is right, but I don't want to see him in Denver with a big contract.
