Wonder what USA picked the Chiefs record to be last season??? Regardless, I think their explanation is correct but I think they finish 7-9 rather than 4-12. There are far too many questions for them to all work out. Id be shocked if they finish .500 or above. This set up for the typical "make the playoffs and fall off the map" season - complete with the $ame lame-a$$ no money excuses.

If we go 4-12, what regime is up next? Reid and Dorsey wouldn't be immediately fired, but how many ultimately successful regimes backslide to 4-12 in their second season? Probably none.

I'd be shocked if we go 4-12. 4-12 teams have bad QBs who throw a lot of interceptions.

It's no worse than people who suck off an offensive line so constantly.

A QB can never be measured by a mediocre offensive line according to some around here. Until you surround him with the 2003 Chiefs line, the QB needs a chance.

The 2003 Chiefs offensive line isn't happening to us. Ever again. So get used to it and hope that Alex Smith is good enough to work with the guys he's got.

ALL The players kc lost are replaceable by guys on the roster. The improvement comes if Alex continues his play from the latter part of the season and a super talented defense actually playing as a unit like one.

NYG - Eli Manning + good pass rush + good OL = Super Bowl.

NYG - Eli Manning + meh pass rush + poor OL = no playoffs and Eli looks like Cassel.

Anyone over the age of 25 should realize the importance of an OL.

They will have a similar record this year so deal with it. This coach, QB, and defensive talent isn't losing more than 8 games.
