Most sacks in the NFL are coverage sacks.
You guys gotta stop tripping on your dicks to blow Albert. |

I thought Hali abused Albert all day.

You said exactly what I wanted to say. I am not sorry to see Albert go. I see Fish as a bit like John Alt. Slow out of the gate but learns every week and will develop into a solid LT. |
And lets not forget Tamba beating Albert inside and getting the ball carrier behind the line for a 2 yard loss on 3rd and short. Those are just as good as a sack.

The better question would be.
Did Branden Albert look like he was worth 5 years, 47 million, with 25 million guaranteed? No doubt that Albert is a good LT in the league, but I think the Chiefs were wise in what they did. Once the Chiefs were forced to franchise him them, they this was always going to be the outcome. I salsa believe that if Fisher wasn't the 1st player drafted overall, Chiefs fans would be so critical of this situation. |
His name is not Brandon. I expect more out of you Direksuhun.

On a couple of the sacks against us, Fasano was lined up on the RIGHT side of the line. He had his head turned in to watch for the snap. By the time he turned his head back to pick up the DE who was rushing on his side, he was already past him, and Smith had no chance.
Not sure why Fasano has to turn his head inside to know when the play is under way. You would think he could watch the DE and then move. Even if the DE jumps early and Fasano would react to it, the penalty should be on the defense. |
That's not how I saw it.
When Fasano lined up on the right side it seemed like our RT thought 'oh good, he can block Wake.' Cameron Wake against Fasano one on one is a disaster waiting to happen. WTF happened to our RT in those situations is beyond me. |

Hali seemed to get the best of Albert IMO- 1 sack and a holding call. Hali had a very solid game and registered his 75 sack as a Chief.
One sack closer to the Ring of Honor. |

Regarding the former Chiefs watch, interesting to note that Succop was 0 for 2, and McCluster had 4 touches for 16 yards...
