My company changed to a PTO policy I really like. Basically, there is no hard limit on PTO (which includes sick time) you can take. But if it is determined that someone is abusing it, or their work/productivity is hurting, they'll undergo a review/probation period. Its makes sense and most people here like it.

Eh, if they actually review it. When I was at Cabela's there was no sick time, just don't come if you're sick. It was getting abused by a couple folks, and nothing came of it. They might have changed that by now. |
