True that...

Elliot Harrison is from Kansas and grew up a Chiefs fan (he admitted it himself after the season)... he's a blatant homer

I would take the following QBs ranked below Alex over him (in no order):

Eli Manning

Joe Flacco

Matt Ryan

Matt Stafford

Ryan Tannehill

Cam Newton

Colin Kaepernick

Teddy Bridgewater

and possibly

Marcus Mariota

Jameis Winston

You can't justify taking Kaepernick or Eli based on last year over Alex. I agree with the rest of your list.

Why not? He had almost 4,500 yards, 30 TDs, and a 92 passer rating. Statistically speaking, it was his best year ever.

Really? You can't justify taking a 2 time SB winner who just threw 4400 yards and 30 TDs over a guy who couldn't find a WR in the endzone?

Think Alex's testicles have hit your head too many times.

Nope, I am just not impressed with a "don't worry about production as long as you don't turn it over" type quarterbacks. I am of the belief that every QB in the NFL has the skills to play that way, they just don't all have the luxury of doing so.

With that being said, I am not impressed by Alex's skillset, and all of the QBs I listed I personally feel have better skillsets or higher ceilings.

That's all.

Eli's 2014 stats speak for themselves. Alex could only dream of having a season like that.

As far as Kaepernick goes, I don't see Smith and him as being very far off (at least statistically they weren't), and I think Kaepernick's ceiling is much higher. That is why I would rank him over Alex.

That, and the reality of you being a 49ers fan. :p

I was ready to put Alex in a shallow grave after last season and the wide receiver td issue... but I'm willing to wait and see what happens this year.

The line will be better, his weapons are improved and this is his his third year in the wco, if it doesnt all come together for him this season, it never will... and I pray they bite the bullet and let him go if so.

One more year, thats all I can bear.

They had their chance to dump Alex this offseason. That chance is gone. Unless someone is willing to trade for him, there's no chance in hell he's not starting for the Chiefs for at least 2 more years.

If they really want to move on, if they really want him gone, he can get gone.

Seriously? His $$ through 2016 is now fully guaranteed and he has nearly $25M in dead money next year.
