Alex will be gone. I don't have any doubt about that. He'll be gone long before Reid. In this situation, Alex is the clear scapegoat.

And Reid will get another chance with another QB. And if the Reid/QB combo fail to produce....it'll be Reid's turn to get fired.

This is how these things go

Is what it is. We could be in worse shape. I came off the bandwagon last year against the 9ers. That heartless 2 minute drive to lose the game at the end was all I needed to know about Alex. That said, he was, and is the best option for this team right now. Hopefully a better one comes along, but let's be perfectly honest here, Alex is not even at the top tier of this team's issues right now. Unless of course the players around him sans Maclin have just completely given up on him. We'll find that out Sunday. If we don't come out and absolutely maul the ****ing Bears, stick a fork in this entire season. Because the only way that happens is if this team has given up, and I can't imagine any reason why they would so early unless they've lost faith in their coaches, their QB, or both.

yup

The Philly fans that were chirping on here after we hired Andy were spot on. Guy hasn't changed a bit. Thanks for the LMAO

Put Booger in. Who cares any more?

And Trent Green lasted all of 2 plays after Roaf retired

Was never on it, so did not have to jump off of it.

If Alex is gone as you say, then he did his job.
Until Alex is gone, he should sit and watch how Chase or Murray does it. (hopefully it is better but not sure how it can be worse.)

400 yards against a Marvin Lewis undefeated team on the road? I'll take that ANY day

No one can lead drives for field goals like Alex Smith!!

Deberg_1990 10-06-2015 03:55 PM

Heres my take. Hes an 'ok" QB. Chiefs have had alot worse.

But hes extremely limited. Everything around him has to be perfect to be successful.

L.A. Chieffan 10-06-2015 04:17 PM

Poor playing calling doesn't diminish what Smith could do and did, DESPITE the terrible offensive coordinating

I'd settle for seeing average around him.

The OL and defense right now? bottom 10.

His weapons? no longer a problem. They are plenty good enough.

The OL, playcalling, and defense? Upgrade these things, and then not even I would speak a positive word of Smith if he underwhelms.

This talk of needing perfection is hyperbolic slop.

Chiefs Pantalones 10-06-2015 04:33 PM

Is it racist that I've noticed that a lot of black Chiefs fans love Alex Smith? Lol
