In his last two 16-game seasons, Berry's been named All-Pro. He's an elite safety. Elite safeties deserve elite safety contracts.

I don't give two damns about what Weddle has done. He's ****ing 52 years old. Berry is like 26. When you're talking about likely a $3-4 million difference in contracts per year, this is a no-brained.

You realize a 2 year contract for a safety that could do everything Berry did for us last season is more friendly than what Berry is probably looking at with 5 years/55 mil , right?
