We didn't "let him walk," we couldn't fit him on the roster.

But fair enough.

Andy Reid, though, I failed to account for. He had this talent in Philadelphia, too. Knowing exactly when to release players.

Of all the players the Chiefs have let walk on Reid's watch, who hasn't busted? Brandon Albert, who has struggled with his health.

Reminds me of 2014. Branden Albert, Tyson Jackson, DMC, Kurt Coleman, Quinten Demps, Jon Asamoah, Akeem Jordan and Geoff Schwartz all left and people panicked.

We don't miss any of those guys.

Oh yeah!

I wonder how Jeff Allen is acquitting himself in Houston.

He's had half a sack so far.

Pump your brakes.

He had a big stop on 3rd down as well and I'm pretty sure he's just a rotational guy for them at this point.

Four times, I hear.

Agreed. He fit the scheme or the scheme fit him very well and he was very good in our defense.

This is what happens when you go out and poach other teams players and don't look to see how they fit into your scheme though. Maybe they didn't care, and just wanted to hurt their rival. :: shrug ::

We may as well just trade him since he had a bad game huh? Or hell lets just release him, we can't get anything for him anyway.

I wasn't for getting rid of him. But if this happens I'll feel much better.

It's OK to feel sad.

He is still better than what you had, but like I pointed out a few days ago... dont expect him to look as good as he did while in KC

Expect him to look more like he did in Miami ie; a middling player

I am not sad... Raiders have a helluva lot to clean up on D but I think they have the talent to do so.

When you are lined up one on one with the box stacked you don't let a wr come off the line without a hit... That cooks guy was never touched and you are going to get torched most of the time unless you have somebody coming through the line fast to apply pressure to the QB... Brees is a great qb and they should have had some help for sean regardless... If you are not getting pressure on the qb most of the wr in the nfl are going to get open.

I am disappointed in the D play overall but the game was won anyway but that stuff won't fly against better teams

That's what the Chiefs did with Stanford Routt.

5. Sean Smith, CB, Oakland Raiders

Since being torched by Brandin Cooks and the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, Smith has been improving, and he was basically a shutdown corner this week against the Titans in Oakland’s win. Only a poor run grade keeps him away from the very top grades, as he was trucked a couple of times by blockers when trying to support against the run. In coverage, however, he caught as many passes (one) as he allowed Titans receivers to catch on seven targets, surrendering just 19 yards.
