I think some players enjoy the attention/drama.. whatever of having an injury and Ben Roethlisberger appears to be Exhibit A of that.

If the guy walks into the training room and is being Paul Pierce (i.e. a make-believe soft bitch who milks every injury for additional television time and attention), the trainers can't really do a hell of a lot about it.
