Even though he graded out perfectly, the best he ever was in KC was just short of average.

He's not even a real ****ing football player, much less a "great Chief".

Goddamn.

Rich Gannon & Neil Smith.

Both of them did better for their careers after they left Kansas City...

So those are acceptable answers as well - they weren't so beat to shit that they could still play at a high level after they left.

Ok.

We're talking about 1970 and later, so Jerrel probably doesn't count.

But now that you mention it, Dustin Colquitt counts and he's got a great argument. He punted a lot during the Pioli years, much more so than any other team would have done. So KC has given him a great platform to exhibit his craft. He wouldn't have as many great performances with a team like New England or Pittsburgh.

Allen and Montana were hall of famers so the franchise couldn't ruin them. I think DT ruined the chiefs more than vice versa with the Monday night Meltdown, not showing up for playoff games and dying.

Keeping DT instead of Neil was a no-brainer at the time, but in hindsight, with things turning out the way they did...

I remember when Dick V said that LJ was a bitch and that he needed to take his diaper off.

It's bad when a crybaby calls you out publicly.

Marcus Allen. Since his career was already wasted by Davis and he already had a ring.
