Im not high on Mahomes either, particularly as a day-1 starter. But a late 1st/early 2nd? Absolutely. The upside is there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us go for one in the 2nd, if there's talent available. The more tape I see of Mahomes, the more flaws I see. It's going to take a lot of work to make him NFL ready. Kizer, Webb, and Peterman all seem to be legit 2 or 3 round guys and I'd feel a lot better about them.

I will literally complain about NO ONE selected in rounds 1 or 2. Anything beyond those two rounds, in this draft, is a waste of a pick.

Ok we will see. I have a feeling that a 2cd round that is not Watson will just set on the bench and then we will get another FA retread while he sets on that bench. That would have appeased the fans about the QB position for a few years.

Yea, but I think the entire class is considered weak.

Watson would be one of the hybrid QBs slotted for the middle to lower 1st in a decent year.


Doesn't mean that one of the QB's won't surprise people and turn out great.

It's just about general ranking.

Such a stupid way of thinking. This type of thinking is what leads to the Ryan Leafs, JaMarcus Russell, Tim Couch, Johnny Manziel, Geno Smith etc.. type picks..

Just pick the right QB. Who cares what round you get him?

Two greatest QBs of all-time are Tom Brady and Joe Montana.. What rounds were they taken in?
