Apparently Alex is not good enough to lift the playcalling, bottom tier OL, and frequent skill player ****ups.. out of the water. Find a QB that can? hey... go for it. That said, we have seen many a young QB have early success, only to later fizzle out or regress a bit over time. Would be nice if the Chiefs' best players could actually be healthy enough for a change.

Beyond that, yes.. Smith has had lots of poor pass pro OLs... and has had highly underwhelming WR talent around him. Until now.. and that's still contingent on JMac getting off his ass to help.

The OL looked to have done a decent job against DEN, to me. Sure.. there were times that Ware had to make his yards on his own. Times where Smith took some crazy quick pressures/hits. That's just gonna happen against that D, and when the KC line is more finesse than brute force.

Not at all a great OL this season, as hoped, but they are also out of the bottom tier for the first time in the Andy era.
