Geno wont outperform Eli or Alex. He sucks.

If only we were saying that about Patrick Mahomes.

Yea. He was offered the start against the Raiders but turned it down.

Yeah but only because it was for show and he would be pulled. Didn’t want to tarnish record.

Orton, Manning, and yes, Brock (though I will acknowledge that he was an emergency measure).

If they turn to Eli next, that would pretty firmly establish a trend, no? And I kinda feel like Elway's gonna be gunshy about pursuing another young QB after Lynch appears to have blown up on him.

Well, the dragged in Orton with the Cutler trade (thanks Josh). Brock? Well, he was a draft pick and left for like 18 months. Weird deal. Trend? Nah.

Are you suggesting that Peyton is your average retread? That will NEVER happen again.

Nope, never suggested that... just not a lot of retreads rolling through there as consistently as some might suggest.

And they shouldn't go after Eli - keep Trevor and take a top 10 guy, roll with that.

TLO 11-28-2017 04:13 PM

Giants are playing this smart, IMO. They know Eli gives them at least a CHANCE of winning every Sunday.

With Geno they literally have no shot. Tanking for draft position like a boss.

This is all on Ben McAdoo.

He wants to prove to the league that it doesn't matter who's at QB, this team sucks.

Davis Webb will play as well.

ROFL

What a Todd Haley-esque thing to do.

I don't understand why they wouldn't just start Webb to see what they have, unless they think Geno could possibly be the guy. Which seems unlikely.

Making sure they are bad enough to get one of the top QBs in next year's draft.

Absolutely

McAdoo didn't become a moron overnight. He lost his best receiver for the season along with 16 other guys that are currently on IR.

He's telling the Giants to **** off.

I like it. :D

Another in a long line of disciplinarian coaches who isn't respected by his players.

To me he just looks like a guy always pointing fingers at everyone except himself.

He lost the locker room weeks ago. He's just going nuclear on his way out.

Hammock Parties 11-28-2017 04:50 PM

He's going to be a late bloomer.

Rich Gennon

Remember, he actually IMPROVED from year one to year two. The broken jaw thing wasn't his fault.
