Rough game tonight. Another injury time out as I type.

Looking forward to hearing Shazier doesn't have some life-altering injury. Geez.

Looked like a bad stinger to me.

Well, only the lower half of his body. How important are legs really, anyway?
No biggie.
Brainless Marcellus, everyone...

I'll remain optimistic for his future health. I ****ing hate the Steelers but this dude has alopecia IIRC. He's already had a rough go of life.

Also, this sort of thing happens frequently but I feel like it almost never turns out as bad as it could. I think the last nasty back injury I saw tha actually lead to something serious was that little Bears WR. Johnny Knox, I think. Good Lord, the way his back bent was unnatural. I think he walks with a permanent limp now.

Very rare for NFL players to get this terrible injury. I can think of two defensive linemen from the 90s (Lions and Jets), and of course Daryl Stingley

The Bills had it happen to one of their players (Kevin Everett) about 12 years ago but he recovered and can walk

Poor guy. You can see his realization.

Man, pray he’s ok.

Kman34 12-04-2017 08:37 PM

Whew... he's ok....some scary hits tonight..

BryanBusby 12-04-2017 08:39 PM

It looked like Colbert was telling Tomlin that Shazier had no feeling in his legs and he just got transported to a level one trauma center.

Example 1 why you don't lead with your head.

I hope the paralysis is temporary and he has a full recovery.

Level 1 trauma center. ****, man.

Kman34 12-04-2017 08:41 PM

Prayers to him and his family...

I hate the squealers but I certainly don't want this to be the case. I prayed for the brother.

yeah I guess. He may've wanted to clarify, given the situation - not everyone is watching right now - continued prayers.

You said he was wiggling around.
