If the Chiefs are 9-6, I don't think I would sit the starters. We would be awfully hot at that point, and to sit them would risk breaking that momentum. Add on top the fact that it is against Denver, and I definitely wouldn't do it. That is a bad first game to throw Mahomes into with backups.
