Has anyone had any experience with SET IPTV? I just read about it and installed it on a free 24 hour trial. They have live streaming TV. And the picture is great. They have networks, but not my locals. That's fine. I can get CBS full access or an antenna for my Chiefs games. They have over 500 channels. Everything that you can think of. They also have a movie side. I didn't see Solo in there, but they had pretty new stuff, like the 2018 versions of Death Wish aTomb Raider. Also quite a few TV series complete seasons up through this season. I like it. Just wondered if anyone else has any experience with it? Oh, and it's $20/ month and will work on 3 devices.

It's also not legal.

Yeah. I know. I just came across it by accident while searching other streaming sites as I prepare to cut the cord. I'm currently trying out Youtube TV. I like it the best really. It's the only streaming site that currently has all of my Springfield locals. I'm about to move to Rogers when I get married. We both own our homes, but Rogers has better schools for her girls,(my daughter will be home-schooled) so I have to move. I want to set it up from home before I move so that I can keep my local stations. Unfortunately, Google(who owns YouTube) won't allow Amazon to put YouTube TV on Firestick. Apparently, they have a pissing match going on because Amazon won't sell Google Home on their site. I have 3 firesticks, so that sucks for me. I have a smart TV that can do it. But that doesn't take care of the other TV's. I was looking for a work around when I found Set TV. If I want to go with YouTube TV, I will need to buy Roku's and start over and I really don't want to do that. I may just go with Sling Blue and add CBS all access for my Chiefs games.

I stream for free but you better have strong Malware and Ad Block Plus popup blocker enabled.

I've watched pretty much every movie show or series I've wanted.

What site(s) do you use?

Which shows on Netflix do you not appreciate?

First answer is correct. Netflix is, by far, the best. Hulu is good and Amazon has the old HBO catalog. Simply get Netflix and don't watch the shows you don't want to watch; it's literally what people do.

And I guess Walmart. But that is not me boycotting the patrons than the store.

I think having your mediocre burrito made by hipster douchebags was enough reason to avoid Chipotle from the start.

There's a workaround for Youtube on FireTV that uses Firefox or Silk. Once set up, it works the same as the old Youtube app. Can you do YoutubeTV from the Youtube app?

I'm not a fan of the Amazon Prime video...there's not enough free content. It seems like just about everything worthwhile has to be purchased alacarte.

If you're really poor (not you) but ANY of you all - Crackle.com will work. While minimal selection it's legal click and play streaming.

Simply Red 06-07-2018 01:36 PM

also if you dig older horror - there's plenty of youtube channels offering click and play movies - some are real grainy - which in the right setting/movie I prefer.
