I live in Sacramento but haven’t done fished truckee yet. I just did the Sacramento River up above Shasta and it was great! We were catching a fish on every other cast.

The Truckee is supposedly quite difficult with low concentrations of fish, but you have a good chance at large fish

Very nice. I really enjoyed that. Winston are some of my favorite rods, although I just broke my 6 weight in my last trip. It’s headed in now for repair.☹️
