He was a bargain for two 2nd rounders.

Dude, the NFL is just entertainment at the end of the day. Have some perspective.

That's a shame. Akex Smith is one of the good guys.

Honestly,

After our OC moves on, wouldn't mind bringing him in as a QB Coach/OC

I love the guy and wish him well, but that’s a bridge too far for me.

You are one of the biggest pieces of shit on this board.

Good thing he got the big contract before it happened. I hope his health is good enough for him to enjoy the rest of his life, play with his kids etc. I hope he isn't in a wheelchair or anything. :(

No. Never. Not a chance in hell.

He can go play golf or run around in the ocean with rocks. I'd put Mahomes in charge of an offense right now, today, over Alex Smith. Thankfully, most ex-players don't want to be coaches.

At least Smith has a legit injury

I knew it was a forgone conclusion when it happened

His age
Severity of the injury
The fact his wheels were his most dynamic asset

Wish him all the best, sincerely... outside of Reid he is maybe the biggest reason this team was able to drag it's sorry ass up off the mat, and be respectable again
