Sadly, I worry if we have another gear this season.

The defense and offense have both shown top gear at different times this season.

They just haven't BOTH showed it in the same game, even though the first 3 quarters against the Ravens was pretty close - they dominated on the scoreboard despite giving up yards.

Maybe I'm just a crazy homer but I really think this team believes in itself after last year, the new guys have all bought in and it's paying dividends on defense, and Monday night + the bye will only steel their resolve.

Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are like great racehorses.

I think there’s a good chance the offense starts lighting stuff up, IF the O line can get their shit together. I’m still concerned about the defense though and really don’t believe they can be trusted.

Reid has un****ed some truly terrible stretches led by Smith in the past. 2016 and 2017 in particular had some horrendous stretches of games.

Can't have Pat actually execute a designed run. His kneecap might spontaneously fall off. Or it might get hit by a meteor.

We already saw the best of the chiefs. And that was last year with Akheem Hunt. This year with no RB's and problems on Defense any wins are good, but next year will be the year they make a run.

The team is FINALLY getting healthy, and the bye week is only going to improve this. This team is on the upswing, and other teams are leery of it.

Pat's in 08 finished tied for first with 11-5 record but lost the tiebreaker to the Jets and missed the playoffs entirely.

Akeem has not played since 2017.
