The Packers OL isn't as good as it was as Bahktieri isn't the same player anymore. So you have an OL that has declined, Rodgers is getting old and he literally has no weapons.
If you were keeping him to go for it, you should have drafted weapons. I have no issue with AJ Dillon being on the team because Jones is so versatile you can do things with that...just it doesn't work as well when no one cares about your receivers.

LaFleur isn't a great HC or OC. He sure isn't on Andy's level.
But also, Aaron is aging, and he can't scramble the way he used to. Pat can and is one of the best in the league, so even if things don't go as planned with the play-call, Pat can escape and ad lib something most of the time. Aaron can't do that as well anymore.
And finally, his WRs are just okay. Basically, it's like he has Pringle and D-Rob out there and nothing else. That's pretty much the same as when we played IND in 2019. Pat was gimpy, Hill and Sammy were out, iirc. If Pat had to play with a bad wheel and Pringle and DRob as his WRs for 8 weeks, well it might've looked something like what's going on with GB right now. |
