Agree 100%. Even if Mahomes can be his normal self we should push the run game as much as possible.

Later in the game if needed then switch to what everyone expects KC to be.

I do love the talking heads like Sharpe who want to talk about how tough the ankle sprains they suffered were and how they know how hard it will be to play.

Like you don’t think medical research has advanced at all in how to treat these things since you played in the 90s?

You aren’t going to be killed because that’s what we should have done last year but Andy was too stubborn to take what Cincy was begging him to.

"The Kansas City Chiefs came out of Sunday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with not only their first loss of the season but also with a number of injuries to key players, most notably quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who said he “reaggravated” an ankle injury in the first half and then saw it further injured in the second half when offensive lineman Andrew Wylie stepped on it."

Edit

https://arrowheadaddict.com/2019/10/...le-colts-loss/

"When backed up against his own end zone in the second half of the team’s most recent loss to the Indianapolis Colts, left tackle Cam Erving was backed into Mahomes and stepped on his foot, re-injuring the ankle that had already been so tender. Suddenly Mahomes was seen limping toward the sidelines, worse than ever before."

Players in all sports routinely miss multiple weeks with high ankle sprain. If he was playing any other position other than QB he would be out.

For example CEH has been out what 6 weeks? (not that I care btw)

I had a high ankle sprain once from tripping over my erect penis. Thankfully I was able to continue posting on www.chiefsplanet.com 6 hours later.

Hammock Parties 01-23-2023 01:24 PM

this was trending towards "not severe" the whole time

no boot postgame

woke up with his ankle feeling much better

today andy says it's less severe than a mild sprain from week one against JAX

I believe he injured that ankle again the next week against the Texans. Then the next week he had his kneecap episode in Denver. That actually helped his ankle finally heal.
