Poop

Good round though.

Coach 06-05-2014 07:55 PM

Foster Griffin, another LHP for the Royals on the 28th pick.

blake1771 06-05-2014 07:55 PM

LHP Foster Griffin, The First Academy (Orlando)

Griffin checks all the right boxes. He has a big, durable frame (listed at 6-foot-3 and 210 lbs.), sits in the low-90s and touches 94 with his fastball, has a very good changeup and improving curveball, throws lots of strikes, and is left-handed. The biggest knock against Griffin is that he lacks “projectability,” meaning teams can't dream about him adding velocity as he fills out his frame. The present package is still pretty great though.

It's beautiful there, man. Anytime you get the chance to go don't pass it up.

The product on the field will likely disappoint, but the park is just beautiful.

If either of those douche teams field a team worth seeing, I'll be there.
Until then.........

Otherwise, I'm not spending the cash and I don't have family there anymore.

duncan_idaho 06-05-2014 08:00 PM

Two more Royals picks tonight... No. 40 and No. 56.

Would be pretty stellar if one of the HS talents slips (at this point, guys like Harrison and Gatewood become risky picks for teams that don't have big signing pools).

There's also a kid from Canada, last name is Morgan, who could be the Mike Stanton of this draft.

If any of the top HS guys on the board now (Harrison, Gatewood, Sean Reid-Foley) slip to KC at 40, they could take them there and then grab a signability guy at 56 who they can sign for far under slot and free up more money in the pool for the pick at 40.

Pepe Silvia 06-05-2014 08:01 PM

This team has no identity smh.

Mike Stanton for the braves or the hitter for the marlins?

Sorry, Giancarlo. Big RH guy with tremendous raw power. Gareth Morgan is his name.

is it just me or does Bueno look like Kelvin Herrera? (physical appearance not pitching)

Harrison obviously talented, but Gatewood's video is enticing.

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2014 08:05 PM

Davis and Holland... shut this thing down

Sigh of relief from me on Ventura, looked pretty good tonight all things considered.

Moose making good contact tonight..

He didn't have his best stuff, had to skip a game over a injury scare, and went 6 innings and only gave up 2 runs. I'll take it. It's a quality start.

ChiTown 06-05-2014 08:07 PM

There's some drunk MF'rs here tonight, and I'm stone cold sober.

Coach 06-05-2014 08:07 PM

Good eye Mouse. Getting on base is a good thing.

Coach 06-05-2014 08:09 PM

Not sure I agree with the bunting idea since Escobar was having a good day offensively.

But then on the other hand, I see that it does take away a possible DP opportunity and puts a runner in scoring position....

Anyong Bluth 06-05-2014 08:09 PM

Moose's last AB for the walk might be the first time Hud sounded like a good broadcaster

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2014 08:09 PM

I don't mind the bunt there, personally.

ChiTown 06-05-2014 08:10 PM

Gawdamn, what a play by Taveras

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2014 08:10 PM

****, nice catch.

blake1771 06-05-2014 08:10 PM

good grief.

SPchief 06-05-2014 08:10 PM

Damn, you have to hold there Moose

Coach 06-05-2014 08:10 PM

****, Mouse! What the hell were you doing?

Discuss Thrower 06-05-2014 08:10 PM

Royals finding fun ways to work into double plays.

SPchief 06-05-2014 08:11 PM

But still a hell of a catch

Bambi 06-05-2014 08:11 PM

Mike Moustakas everyone!

Pepe Silvia 06-05-2014 08:11 PM

Phenomenal catch.

Mr. Laz 06-05-2014 08:12 PM

so not only does Moose suck but he's stupid too?

cmh6476 06-05-2014 08:12 PM

an 8 yr old im coaching got doubled up on a flyout yesterday

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2014 08:12 PM

We will miss Tanaka, thank god.. could you imagine what he'd make these guys look like?

cmh6476 06-05-2014 08:12 PM

scratch that, I think he's still only 7

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2014 08:14 PM

It is much easier to watch a baseball game on broadcast than at the game. Being at the game everything hit into the outfield looks like it's gone. Stressful.

Mr. Laz 06-05-2014 08:16 PM

DYSON!!!

more suction with a Dyson, grabs everything

TLO 06-05-2014 08:16 PM

Davis keeps plowin ahead.

Good catch Dyson!

Anyong Bluth 06-05-2014 08:16 PM

God, neck tats are stupid

C3HIEF3S 06-05-2014 08:16 PM

What a shit outing from Davis, didn't get a strikeout.

:)

SPchief 06-05-2014 08:16 PM

Wade F. Davis

Davis not sharp, but got the job done.

Risky play, but very nice result
