Why did the Chiefs work out WR Keith Nichol? Because they are taking QB Kirk Cousins. They wanted to pick his brain about our HoFQBotF.

Kind of interesting, though... Cousins is a three-year captain, one of the most mature players in this draft.

He's not the kind of guy that warrants a ton of additional research...

Because he is terrible. Is a much worse prospect than Stanzi based on film IMO

He's not huge like Osweiler, or exciting like Kellen Moore, and doesn't have the upside of Lindley.

He's just a really smart game manager with questionable skills.

The Chiefs would probably love to take him low and develop him, trading him off for a profit.

Cousins doesn't do anything real well. He just does everything. He's an NFL everyman. He doesn't have the skillset to be a franchise QB, but could make an adequate backup that won't make mistakes.

Just heard on a radio interview that Mark Castle spent some of his offseason working out at UCLA with Noel Mazzone, Philip Rivers, Brock Osweiller, and Tebow.

And got outplayed by Noel Mazzone, Philip Rivers, Brock Osweiller, and Tebow.

Mazzone is one of the better QB gurus out there. Maybe Castle will have another Pro Bowl year!

We can all wish and hope for Stanzi but it is another new system for him to learn with another new OC. There is very little chance he passes Quinn on the depth chart with Quinns experience in Dabolls offensive system.

I'd be OK with #1 Cassel, #2 Quinn, #3 Stanzi for this year. Quinn could be capable. Give Stanzi another year to grow.

That should read: Stanzi is unlikely to be given the opportunity to compete for the starting position.
