A good way to level up and earn some easy cash is to go to the airport and do the race on the runway. You can adjust the race settings to one lap. Its a short figure eight about a mile long. Me and one of my buddies did it for a bout an hour. Winner gets like 3400 bucks. I forget what the loser gets but we alternated winning every other race. Easy cash and xp.

I haven't done one online racing mission, other than the one at the beginning.

I'm terrible at it.

But, the co-op racing looks fun (one driver, one shooter).

Dude killed me 15 minutes in....so I went on a rampage following him around and trading kills with him.

I did the same thing. Then I got in my car and asked if he needed a ride back to civilization and he said yes. He got in and I drive off then he jumps out and I thought "well **** him then" a couple seconds later my car blows up...he planted a bomb or some shit.

Awesome shit.


Then I had a guy who killed me right after I robbed something and was paused trying to put my money in the bank. So I re spawn and go light his ass up.

They are removing access to popular camping spots in Survival. You can't get on the roof on Boneyard anymore...

Okay Level 49 and have approximately $312K.

Add that $250K and I should be able to buy a really nice car.

Been having issues all night. Invites not going out properly. Failed loading. Timing out. 'Kicked by other players' when iw as just driving around randomly or just loaded in from a mission etc.

Cant wait for it to come out on PC though :P

Ive got around 55K right now. I'm planning on getting to around 200K, then buying a nice apartment.

For those who are up there in the levels, how long should I wait, or how expensive of an apartment should I buy? it seems like all the high end apartments (200-400K) seem the same, just with different/better views.

My friends and I always get smoked on that mission too.

Click on sections of the maps, gives you what you need to do for challenges (stunt jumps, etc). Click on a particular one, gives you a video showing you what you need to do.

Damn they nerfed a bunch of mission payouts... Base Invaders no longer gives out 25k and Mixed up with Coke no longer gives out 18k.

Did you get the cop cars mission finished? I ended up just doing it on my own last night, dying 4 or 5 times before I completed it. Destroying that riot van is a bitch.

Oh and btw I'll be online quite a bit today. Wanting to buy an appartment by the end of the day.

Is there a point owning one? Other than hiding from bounties. Do you spawn there? What else do they include?

Yes you spawn there everytime you enter a new session. You can have your friends in your apt as well. An apt with a 10 car garage is all you need. They include the same experience you have in storymode. I normally wait in my apt for crew or friends to join my session then I invite them over and ride together to missions or bounty hunt. You can buy a cheaper property and later buy a nicer one and get a discount on the sticker price of the nicer apt since you're trading in your old apt as you can only own 1 property. Also if you go from a 6 car garage to a 2 car garage you lose 4 cars you had saved in your garage. so always keep that in mind.

Rockstar nerfed $ payout on repeated missions. There goes grinding.

For those of you inquiring about mission payouts, there was a change that reduces payouts by 50% after a repeat of the mission. So, basically, the first time you play and beat the mission, you will get the full amount. Subsequent replays will see a payout amount reduced by half.

This is to help prepare for upcoming missions and content in the Beach Bum Pack as well as heists to help keep the game balanced as well as encourage the exploration of new missions and content in the game.

We understand players do like to enjoy a mission multiple times, so rather than remove the possibility of doing so, we've allowed replays of these missions at a reduced payout. Many players can get very good at a mission and beat it much faster in consecutive tries, so we've adjusted these payouts to match that case.

This also ties in to our ongoing discussion of replay availability for NPC missions, in which we are taking community feedback as well.

I apologize that there was not full clarity on this in the patch notes; however, hopefully this note will clear things up. If there are any additional questions on this, please do not hesitate to ask.
